LAUREN BERGET, LPC

Hi there, I'm Lauren!  I grew up in Santa Rosa, California, in the heart of the wine country.  After graduating from high school, I moved to New Orleans, Louisiana to pursue my bachelor's degree at Tulane University, and I've been in the Big Easy ever since. I am a life long soccer player, and I have been coaching high school and middle school soccer teams since 2018. In my free time, I do yoga for relaxation and reflection, and I do CrossFit style workouts for cardio and strength training.

When I began college at age 17, I had no idea what my career path would be. After exploring various subjects and fields, I finally found my calling when I became an intern in a high school counseling office during my senior year at Tulane, and I haven’t looked back since.  I earned my Masters of Education in Counseling from the University of New Orleans in 2017 and spent the next five years working as a Professional School Counselor in New Orleans charter schools before opening a private practice.

I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Louisiana, as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Nationally Certified School Counselor (NCSC) by the National Board for Certified Counselors.
